How long will it take for us to get our photos back?
For portrait and couples sessions, you can expect to receive your full gallery 4-6 weeks after your session. For weddings I will send out sneak peeks within 72 hours of your special day and you'll receive the full gallery 10-12 weeks later.
May I have the RAW files?
As a photographer, I do not provide RAW files to clients because they require specialized software as well as professional editing, so that the final images meet and reflect my professional and artistic standards.
Do you travel for sessions and weddings?
I do! Depending on where your dream photoshoot location is, I charge a travel fee of $1/mile for locations over 1 hour away. For out of state and destination weddings, please contact me with the details and I would be more than happy to give you a cost estimation and breakdown! Do you have any added fees?
Some locations, such as historic homes, botanical gardens, and photography studios charge a fee for professional photography on the property. The fee will be added to your total amount due.
How far in advance should I book my photoshoot?
For regular portrait and couples sessions, I would suggest booking 1-3 months out. Please note that my availability in Spring and Fall diminishes quickly due to interest!
For weddings, I would suggest booking after you have found your venue. This ensures that you are not choosing a venue based upon my availability.
How many photos can I expect to receive in my gallery?
I do not place a limit on the number of photos in your gallery so that the photos you receive accurately capture your photoshoot or wedding day.
How long will I have access to my online gallery?
You will be able to access your gallery for one year starting the day you receive it. Ex. gallery received December 13, 2023, gallery removed December 13, 2024.

I strongly encourage my clients to BACK UP their full gallery, not just their favorite photos, to an external hard drive or thumb drive as soon as possible.
Do you offer photography services for events other than weddings?
Ex. Engagement parties, showers, etc.
I do! Once you submit an inquiry form with the details of your event, I will send you an Investment Guide with all the info on the packages I offer.
Do I have to choose a location listed in your Locations Guide?
It is not required to choose a shooting location from my guide. They are just suggestions! I have provided over 50 locations across Alabama and Tennessee to choose from with settings ranging from gardens to studios to historic manor homes. Travel and photography fees may apply.
Should I get my hair and makeup professionally done?
Not if you don't want to! However, I suggest applying your makeup a little heavier than what you might regularly do so that your beautiful features will be better highlighted on camera! If you aren't comfortable with doing "on camera" makeup, then I would be more than happy to provide you with a list of MUA recommendations!

As for hair, most clients prefer to do their own for a regular session. If you're picturing yourself with an intricate updo, then GO FO IT!
